SPN Payment Policy

This looks like a classic pyramid/multi-level marketing (MLM) scam disguised as a "vendor registration" or "SPN" (possibly "Service Provider Network" or similar) affiliate/reseller program.

Why this is almost certainly a scam:

1. You have to pay money upfront to join
   - Vendor registration payout? That doesn't make sense in legitimate programs. Normally, platforms pay you or charge nothing to list products.
   - ₹ 500.00 registration fee + ₹25.00 per product SKU (and listing not even included?) → They make money from sign-up fees, not from actual sales.
2. Heavy focus on recruitment (referrals), not product sales
   - SPN to SPN referral: ₹ 1000.00 per person
   - If your referral brings in 500+ vendors → you get ₹5000 bonus
   This is the hallmark of a pyramid scheme: earnings come mainly from recruiting new members who pay fees, not from selling real products/services. Eventually it collapses when no new people join.
3. Unrealistic or vague earnings with no real business model
   Legitimate platforms (like Amazon Seller, Meesho reselling, Flipkart affiliate) never charge you to join as a seller and never pay huge amounts just for referrals without actual sales volume.
4. The website https://indiabuyon.in/
   - Appears brand new or empty (no proper content, reviews, or traffic).
   - Zero mentions anywhere on Google, social media, or complaint forums (as of Nov 2025). Legitimate Indian e-commerce/affiliate sites have thousands of reviews.
   - No company details, address, GST number, or proper terms visible = huge red flag.
5. 15-day payment period
   Common excuse in scams to delay or never pay out while collecting more registration fees.

What will probably happen if you join:

• You pay ₹500 + product fees.
• You refer a few people → maybe they pay you small amounts at first (using money from new victims) to build trust.
• Then payments stop, website disappears, or they ask for "activation fees", "tax", or "upgrade" to withdraw money.
• You lose your money and waste time.

Advice:

• Do NOT pay any money or share bank/KYC details.
• If someone sent you this via WhatsApp/Telegram, block and report them.
• Real ways to earn as a reseller/vendor in India (no upfront fees): Meesho, GlowRoad, Shop101, Amazon Seller Central (free to register), Flipkart Seller Hub.

If you already paid something, immediately file a cybercrime complaint at https://cybercrime.gov.in and try chargeback via your bank.
